Stephen Rippon (Project Advisor)

Stephen is a graduate in Physics (Manchester)  and an M.A. in Education (Leeds). He was a teacher for 34 years in state grammar and independent schools. He was Head of Physics in a popular East Riding of Yorkshire comprehensive school where he also was Examinations Officer. He has been a private tutor in physics and mathematics and also an evening class tutor in Further Education. Since retiring from teaching he has been a volunteer with the Open Doors Project, which welcomes people seeking asylum and refugees from many countries. He is currently line manager for the project on behalf of the Methodist Church.


  Neil King (Business Consultant)

Neil is founder member and director of Social Enterprise Yorkshire and the Humber. He is a well-known consultant and specialist in social enterprise development and micro economic strategies to enhance community economic development. He has a wealth of experiences in community enterprise development with disadvantaged communities and has led multi agency worklessness programme value £13m.


 Mike Bisby (Networking Advisor)

Mike has 60 years experience in trade in several European Countries. Now works in The Arts and Regeneration. Together with Bob Spence founded NeXtworking, and with Larry Malkin founded DragonFest Ltd. He is the chairman of East Yorkshire Branch of The Federation of Small Businesses which is the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.
