IranianCommunity of Hull
Competitors and Partners The older established organisations, such as those for the Vietnamese, Somali and Tamil refugees, founded from the 1980s onward, and more recently established organisations representing ethnic refugee communities new to the UK, such as from Francophone Africa. These organizations can appear as competitors to ICOH in attracting the funds. However, their customers are very different from ICOH. Indeed there is no organization of this kind in the local area. Instead there are a number of main NGOs and the principal refugee groups which along with a vast array of governmental agencies are dealing with Iranian refugees affairs. They can be regarded as reliable partners rather than competitors. ICOH can form fully-fledge partnership with some of them go into looser collaboration and still others can be used as referral points for clients or for reaching out to clients.
